Flight deck
My career began in the flight deck, operating in highly regulated, safety-critical environments where disciplined decision-making, risk management, and teamwork are essential. That operational mindset continues to shape how I approach every technical challenge — with structure, accountability, and a constant focus on reliability.
Software systems
Alongside aviation, I design and build software systems, developing full-stack applications and managing the infrastructure that supports them. I’m particularly interested in how well-engineered systems behave under pressure, how failures occur, and how thoughtful design can prevent them.
Underwater operations
Outside the flight deck and the terminal, I spend time exploring another demanding operational environment: the underwater world. Scuba diving shares many of the same characteristics as aviation — careful preparation, strict procedures, situational awareness, and a deep respect for the limits of human physiology and equipment.
Current study
I am currently working toward a BSc in Cyber Security, with the goal of applying cybersecurity principles within the aviation domain. As aviation becomes increasingly digital and interconnected, protecting operational technology and critical infrastructure is fundamental to safety.
What I write about
Thoughts and lessons from aviation, software, and cybersecurity — usually where complex systems, safety, and technology overlap.
- Aviation operations and safety culture
- Cybersecurity in critical infrastructure
- Laravel and reliable software systems
- Systems thinking and automation
- High-responsibility operating environments
- Technology through a risk lens
